EFFECT: You show your audience a clear "crystal" tube. It appears to be empty. It is of course made of acrylic plastic! You then take a silk handkerchief out of your pocket and push it into the tube. When this has been done, with the tube in the vertical position, you then hold the bottom with your left hand and the top with your right. You count to three, and each time you count, you move the tube first down, then up, and on the last count as the tube moves down a miracle seems to have happened. The silk changes colour! You pull it out to show this is so.
