EFFECT: A block of wood with a clock face on one side is placed into the bottom of a rectangular tube. It is then pushed to the opposite end of the tube where there is a circular cutout allowing the clock face to be seen by the audience.

A bolt is passed through a hole in the side of the tube, through the block of wood with the clock face and finally through the other side of the tube, thus securing the block to the tube. In spite of this, the magician causes the block to penetrate the bolt and it shoots out of the bottom of the tube.
