EFFECT: A coin is borrowed, marked, and "sealed" in a holder between rubber banded transparent plates. The plates are covered by a handkerchief, and given to a spectator to hold. The performer now introduces a brass pill box, which may be placed in full view of audience, or even given to another spectator to hold. The performer makes a magic pass - apparently transferring the coin from under the handkerchief to the brass box.
The spectator is now asked to remove the set of plates from under the handkerchief. The coin has vanished. The plates and handkerchief can be examined. After showing the handkerchief clearly on both sides, the spectator is asked to open the brass box. When the box is opened, a second smaller brass box is found inside. When this box is opened, a third smaller box appears inside. And when this box is opened a fourth brass box just large enough to hold the coin appears. Finally the spectator opens the last box and discovers the same marked and borrowed coin.
