Birth of Flowers

c1880s.

Lacquered brass canister is shown empty. The lower canister is filled with earth, then covered again. When uncovered the second time, a small bouquet of imitation flowers has appeared.

The Flowers are in a poor condition, with a few loose and no longer attached, the partition is corroded, else in good condition.
